yes, these Lightfoot tributes go back decades but they were more 'open mic songwriter theme' nights, of which I always enjoyed the GL ones the most becuase with the cataloge so large you wouldn't end up getting musicians playing a bunch of radio hits only when it was a Gord night

but this past decade's caffe lena tribute and hugh room and TWIF tour are the most orgranized and formal tributes to Gord that you will come across (unless there's something overseas), it really great and I'm just learning more about that caffe lena gig and heard some really fun sound clips too, talent and heart combined ...thanks for the satinwood link, neat stuff

when i hear the These Dreams clip (wow, really showcases your all around talent!) i am reminded of how robbed we acoustic/songwriter fans were of what lengthy and tasty Croce catalog would be out there now, and what live collaborations (not to mention , more parties he and Gord would have been part of ...your arrangement is just a wonderful song for a winter's night (such as last night), once again, way to go!
