good to hear from you. I´ve noticed your excellent reviews on Amazon which clearly show you know what you´re talking about. I´ve always wondered about the exact recording date for that Montreux show, so thanks for finally clearing this up.

I am usually very fond of live recordings even if they are technically sub-standard, as they often convey more emotion than the studio versions (not in this case, though). I have had this Montreux CD since 1992 (I think), have exchanged its dreadful original cover with a decent self-made one (hobby of mine)and still enjoy listening to it with all of the imperfections. At the time I bought this bootleg all I had of "Live Gordon" was a seriously worn version of the "Sunday Concert", about 12 years old, so that CD came as a welcome addition to the collection.

It is great to be in touch with other people appreciating the uncomparably wonderful music of GL; I hope we´ll keep this thing up for years to come.
