yes, I know John was agreeing Cathy.
Sappy is a local idiom that really has no connotation that is good or bad. I really haven't heard anyone use this term in a long time 'though.
Cathy, I am not, absolutely not here, ya hear?
When I was a kid I remember comments about people who were ascertaining love for another as "sappy", that's not so bad, really. Oh well. Funny how we can relate many of Gords' songs to these idioms, but, in reality most of his lyrics are timeless and wonderful in that quality.
John, you wouldn't shoot me would you?
Cathy, I liked the comments the article made about Gord having such versatility and influencing so many with his music.
