Wow! What a quick reply! Thank you so very very much Cathy I appreciate it a whole lot. My grandparents live in a city called Moratua which isn't too far from Colombo and the terrible flood took place across the atlantic coastrol line. When I got up on the 26th and switched the radio on and heard the news on the BBC World Service, we were in a complete state of shock. I'll tell you Cathy I am just so relieved that we weren't affected by it all and let's hope that this sort of thing will not happen again. I just don't know how to thank my two very close friends Mich and Marcie for their concern and kindness it is very very much appreciated. I even had the opportunity to do a little interview on a Sri Lanka radio station and I talked with a very kind hoast who said that I was one of the most rarest 20 year olds out there! I'll tell you it was such a thrill going on air and talking to him.
