I remember (ok I'll cop to it) watching an episode of "Suddenly Susan" with Brooke Shields. She was a writer at some magazine. One day she and her co-workers got into an elevator, the doors closed and they were talking, all of a sudden over the Muzak, came
"Beautiful". One of the coworkers said "Shhhhhhh! Listen! it's Gordon Lightfoot!" Everyone's eyes got real big, and I think the picture faded to black.
It wasn't exactly complimentary to Gord. Maybe the writer of the script was not a Gord fan!
