The Royal Canadian Air Farce did a send up of lightfoot during one of their skits.
I believe it was Alan Park who was in the clip - doing his regular commentary. He was constantly saying "We're sorry for making fun nof global warming, political correctness..." etc. etc.
He even went on to say "We're sorry... that we asked Gordon Lightfoot to write a song about it."
Out comes "GL" and he's singing away. He makes referece to being lactose intolerant. Eventually he gets run over by a truck.
Park comes back and does some more talking. At the end, he can't figure out how to end the skit.
We see GL limping, but still singing.
"I think I have the ending yer looking fer...
Oh no... here comes a bus..." He gets run over by a bus! End of skit.
I was laughing hysterically. I love mindless comedy.
The only thing is, I'm looking for the clip and I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me find it? Please?
