Default Feedback from Peter B (former Corfid poster) in Melbourne

This week I texted former Corfid contributor Peter and asked if he had heard about Gord's passing. He texted back the following, which I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting in this forum:
"I had driven to Donald (3 hours north-west of Melbourne) on Tuesday May2, listening to Gord's Gold Volumes 1 and 2. I attended a funeral, then turned my phone back on to find many texts commiserating over Gord's death. Things are coming to an end, mate. Losing someone who's meant so much for so long. I first heard of him as the writer of Early Morning Rain and For Loving Me on a Peter Paul & Mary album around 1968. Then came IYCRMM in 1970 and I was hooked. My wife has always said I was obsessed with him. The photo of me with an arm around Gord at the Pabst Theatre in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2006 and my model of the Edmund Fitzgerald will have to do from now on."
