This reminds me of an incident during a live televise Formula One race. Being shown on ITV a commercial channel over here in the UK. Sadly no film to show.

Also an incident where unhappy fans left a soccer match at half time.
It was Newcastle United against Arsenal 2 of the biggest clubs in England. By Half time Arsenal had put 4 goals past the Newcastle keeper. The Toon Army, as the Newcastle fans are known, were seen streaming out to the stadium at half time. In the second half Newcastle put 4 past the Arsenal keeper, a 4-4 draw. Those fans that left the ground early must have been really teed off.
