I have tickets for my wife and myself to see Gord at Birmingham next year. I have a sister in Edinburgh who enjoys music as much as I do, I phoned her and told her to keep 18th May 2016 clear as I am taking her to see Gordon Lightfoot in Glasgow. She has heard of Gordon Lightfoot, but was not too familiar with his body of work. She mentioned that she is not too keen on artists who do not know when to call it a day, oh dear I thought. It will be interesting to hear her remarks after the concert. I am looking forward to spending 3 days in Scotland with my lovely sister, but I approach the concert with a degree of trepidation.
