This was a great find, lots of fun to listen to.
Two quick notes:
1) He's certainly changed his tune when it comes to people covering his music. Back in those days, he wasn't exactly thrilled about most of the covers. Now he says he loves them all.

2) I'm glad he fought that hard to keep "The Soul is A Rock" in its original 5 minutes plus, instead of caving in to the record company and paring it down to 3 minutes. It's a great song, really makes you think, quite dark and apocalyptic in its way. His description of his mindset at the time makes you see that he was headed for trouble; thank God he pulled himself out of the dark places in time.
