Re: Gordon at Massey Hall 1974!
http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/p...e-pudding.htmlA Super posting David thank you
I took the trouble of checking your previous posts and enjoyed rereading this thread that you started back in 2005
http://corfid.com/vbb/showthread.php...115#post109115 I especially like your account of your brother's conversation with a gent on the Massey Hall stage. It reminded me of the old apocryphal chestnut
"How old cary Grant?"
"Old cay Grant fine, How you?"

As far as the quality of the '74 audience recorded bootleg goes I peronally feel that the value of the 4 unreleased song recordings included far outweighs any consideration of the overall quality and that as I have said here before I have a strong reason to believe that a copy of the 2 CD set as obtained on Ebay made its way to Gord at about the time the Massey Live album was being formulated.
I firmly believe that the "proof of the pudding" is to listen on sugarmegs or offline to the 128KPS mp3 continuous file
I used that phrase about testing the dessert and now find that it is it is vaguely Gord related per
"The phrase is widely attributed to Cervantes in The History of Don Quixote."
