Getting back to the original question in the thread - about why no definitive bio. on Gord?

I asked Gordon personally after a concert about 8 years ago about when he might write his biography.

Direct quote from Gord himself: "You get to the point where it just doesn't matter anymore."

I personally think Gordon would rather spend his time performing (and hopefully still writing music) rather than writing about his personal life.

I don't think he sees himself as 'a big deal'. I know I would buy a copy of a definitive bio. which had either been written by Gordon himself, or at least one which had his approval and blessing.
