This was a great concert. There was lots of banter, hoots & hollars - even singing along, especially during "Carefree Highway". The hall was packed. My sister and I both felt this was the best Gord concert in years. The setlist was new to us and very appreciated (sorry no setlist!). Gord sang "Now and Then" - one of my absolute favorites. His voice was the strongest I've heard since his illness - I would be interested in other opinions on this as I hadn't seen Gord in almost 1-1/2 yrs. As you can see from Bill W's photo (great pictures!), the hall is all wood and very rustic, with folding chairs which lends itself to a more casual attitude. Just a great weekend with the Town of Jim Thorpe thrown in! Sorry we didn't get a chance to see our concert-goer acquaintences but as you know it was a madhouse at intermission and after the concert. We were up very early so we didn't stay after. We wound up having dinner at Molly Maguires (very good) since the Inn at Jim Thorpe was totally mobbed. Just a really fun time.
Best,
CM
