Very interesting article (and I'd like to read similar "10 favourites" feedback from all my favourite songwriters). I've long been pooh-poohed for saying "East of Midnight" is Lightfoot's best album, but here Gord says it himself. How ironic that Gord's favourite song "A Passing Ship" is one he has never performed in concert (because he was never confident a live version would stand up to the album original).
