Iwell, I just saw the film on a plane (with ear buds, not ideal) but as I landed, "they" were just taking off so I missed last bit of the ending

I think casting some unknowns for the Arkin and Goodman roles (not to mention Affleck) would have worked better for me. But I liked the casting of the hostages and their haircuts. I too wondered more about those other slew of poor US hostages.

That climatic telephone ringing scene didn't have me nearly as immersed as the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire telephone ringing scene. Now there was some fine directing. I think I will enjoy the Pi movie just as much. I understand that late lovely tiger was from the zoo near char's
