Default Re: Bobby Vee has Alzheimers

Oh wow,that's so sad.

Even though Bobby Vee and many other pre-1968 acts pre-date me,it's alwas sad news to hear about one of them falling ill or passing on.

Let's hope he can stay as coherent for as long as possible. next year on April 30th,he will be 70.

As a lot of you (may or may not) know,I collect the hits of major and even mior artists. In late 2009 I finished the 14 hits of Bobby Vee. (Some don't know he had even that many).

Thanks to a CD and two albums,I was able to do it but the hardest song to find was his last hit (which I found on a K-Tel like collection of other acts,a case of right place-right time & luck).

Here's Booby's 14 hits ;

Devil or Angel -1960 #6
Rubber Ball -1960/1961 #6
Stayin' In- 1961 #33
Take Good Care Of My Baby #1 - (1961)
Run To Him -1961 #2
Please Don't Ask About Barbara -1962 #15
Sharing You -1962 #15
Punish Her - 1962 #20
Th Night Hasd a Thousand Eyes - 1962/1963 #3
Charms -1963 #13
Be True To Yourself -1963 #34
Come Back When You Grow Up -1967 #3
Beautiful People - 1967 #37
My Girl/Hey Girl (Medley) - 1968 #35
