After the judge excused me, allowing me to go to the concert, I texted my boss to let him know.

"Did you dress like Princess Leia?" he texted back.

"No, I told the judge about Gordon Lightfoot."

"Maybe he's a closet Lighthead."

"Could be, we're everywhere!"

I think jury duty, like waiting tables, is something everyone should have the chance to experience. It gives a unique perspective you just can't get anywhere else.
