I disagree. IMHO, once Gord retires and if his health is ok, I predict he'll eventually do an overview of his recorded career and will seek to cement his legacy. IF, IF he has good, up to date people around him, he may seek the best way to care for that legacy. If he's interested, he may take time to learn about the current delivery systems and take a cue from people who appear to know what they're doing, a fine example is Mr. McCartney.
Right now, that's the furthest thing from his mind, because he's busy touring and practicing. But once that's done and that's behind him, he can turn his attention to what he's going to leave behind. If not, look for his children to keep the legacy alive and make some proper decisions. I hope I'm correct.
