Default Re: Al Stewart in Stevenson, WA

Neville Judd wrote a book called "Al Stewart, The true life adventures of a folk rock troubadour," which has a chapter on Bournemouth. The chapter heading is " In which Al joins a succession of Bournemouth beat groups before coming under the spell of Bob Dylan and moving up to London and the Soho folk scene." By coincidence, when Al played at Stevenson, he did mention his early days, in the mid-1960's, the groups The Sabres and The Shadows, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, etc. Here's the set list for his Stevenson, WA concert; he went on to Seattle the next night, accompanied by Dave Nachmanoff & Michael Lindauer.
