Enjoy!!
FYI Al Stewart was at one time a resident of Bournemouth (now in Dorset England)
and met up with a local singing hopeful named Anthony Blackburn, in fact
"Glasgow native Al Stewart began his career playing guitar in Tony Blackburn's band the Sabres" (Tony went on to become a very successful radio Disc Jockey initially on the Pirate Stations Radios Caroline and London then became the very first person on air on the new
Radio One in 1967 (when Auntie Beeb finally woke up to the fact that what the great unwashed youth of the UK really wanted was pop music wall to wall.
The very first record that he played thereon was "Flowers in The Rain by The Move

The funny thing is that I started drafting this convinced that it was Build Me Up Buttercup
by the Foundations and for which I had the ideal punchline "Jenney should volunteer to perform this as part of the Jam Sandwich jollifications in a few weeks!!
I did buy Al's fine Vinyl album Time Passages (i stiil have the copy which is now near the top of the pile of favourite old vinyls waiting for my setting up a digitisation production line
