as i watched the ceremony on tv from our top floor, i could see the vehicles on 401 zooming by right at 11...what a contrast to the silence in Ottawa...what could be so important that one couldn't schedule their travels and work breaks around this one minute per year? oh well, time=money, eh

we are donating family fonds next week to archives or Canada and Ontario, many b+w's from the 30s to 50's...i will be scanning negatives like mad this week
