Default Gordon Lightfoot: The Patron Saint of the Wilderness

CBC (the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) has published a blog entry about Burton Cummings (of the Guess Who) as 'Patron Saint of the Mustache" and names other Canadian musicians and what they would be called if they were patron saints.

In the comments area, a number of people have mentioned Gord. One called him "the patron saint of the wilderness", an appellation I think is entirely fitting. But I went one better, and said, "If Burton Cummings is one of the patron saints of Canadian music, then Gordon Lightfoot is the capi di tutti capi, AKA God."

(Capi di tutti capi = Italian for 'boss of all bosses', usually a term that Mafioso use when referring to someone who is a really big cheese.)
