I just realized that this past August was the anniversary of the launch of the site and
I'm finally back here to say "Happy 10th Anniversary to the Gord Board"!
The MASH site I frequent (which looks similar to this site) is turning 10 on Dec. 9th too,so I have 2 big occaisions here.
I wasn't here then in '99 but as most know I came around about the end of year #3 in 2002 as an "observer". Only finding the site because I was sure "he" couldn't possibly have one! LOL! Joke's on me.
At that time the "final four" Gord albums were about to be released on CD & I had just months before attended my first show on Aug. 6th. He was in the process of recovering from the events of '02. Seems like only 7 days ago.
I'm only sorry to mark this occaision having had to miss Gord's show on Oct. 25th. Hopefully though,he'll return next year again. A big round of thanks to Florian and Char.
Without Florians idea in the late 90s and the continuing support of Char,who knows if there ever would be a forum like this?
Thank you and thank all of you for putting up with a "long list making" nut! LOL!!!! Sorry I've been such a stranger here lately too.
P.S. - Keep an eye out for my list of 1000 songs that Gord should cover! ( NOT! )
