Yet another new Ebay thread
I haven't been as diligent at keeping tabs on GL items on ebay recently although I did recently snag a "like new" Songbook boxset for a mere $29.00 with free shipping.
But this one that just might interest UK fans caught my eye today
GORDON LIGHTFOOT - Remember Me (I’m The One)/Daisy Doo ORIG Decca 45 F 11527 (UK, 1962)
Happy to present Gordon’s 1st ever UK 45 from way back, definitely his rarest and hardest to find single on these shores. The A is an Elvisesque ballad, but it’s the B, Daisy Doo that steals the show - a great driving rocker!
The vinyl is in pretty good shape for 47 years old, especially on the B. There’s some light marking - mainly thin hairlines and very light scuffing, but on the A there’s also some small white spots/deposits that don’t affect the play. Overall looks VG but plays better with the B nearly sounding perfect.
Labels fine with no writing, stickers or other damage. I can’t really detect any obvious spindle usage, maybe indicating this disc has been lightly played - it certainly sounds fresh enough!
