Mets fan here. I prefer the Sox to whup the Yankees but any port in a storm...

Your Yankees concerns are right on the money. The core of the team is too old now and they have no bullpen. They have a ton of work to do if they want to get another run going. Working against them is the fact that some of the old guys are already Yankee legends so they can't do anything about the situation until those guys retire - Posada and Jeter being chief among them.

This is actually the area where the Sox have them. The Sox get younger and yet continue to contend. The Yankees let the farm system get away.

The Mets are another story. They just have the curse of being the Mets. Five errors last night and lose it on a base running error. Doh!
