Default The Moon's a Billboard!!

I was reminded whilst watching television last night that The late English film star Sir David Niven called his autobiography
"The Moon's a Balloon".

I was suitably amazed by the latest television commercial for Rolling Rock beer which is actually an Anheuser-Busch brand or is it Labatt USA??

remember you saw it here first!!!
As they say on a moonvertising web site at:-
http://www.mahalo.com/Moonvertising

"Moonvertising is a marketing and advertising program implemented by Rolling Rock Beer out of St. Louis, Missouri. According to the company website, they will attempt to project a copy of their logo onto the moon on March 21, 2008, during the evening's full moon.
Fast Facts:
Sponsored by Rolling Rock Beer
Allows users to put a "message" on the moon
"Moon Parties" scheduled on the site
Moon projection scheduled for next 3 full moon phases

I read also that:-
"Coke tried to do it in 1999 (it’s true - more here) but were prevented from doing so because apparently the lasers needed were so powerful it would have atomised bypassing aircraft."
The message here is DO NOT fly anywhere during moonlight on March 21st!!
and the lesson here is DO NOT believe everything you see on television or read on websites
