Err Umm actually it is clearly Rock My World To Sleep
    see the full lyrics at:-

In the absence of any details of concerts pre 1974 on Waynes site, I believe that my statement on my setlist page at:-
    http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/LIGHTFO..._June_1972.htm
for the 10 June 1972 concert at London's Royal Albert Hall
"that is a real rarity never recorded??"
is most certainly true. Moreover I seem to recall that after the song had been sung Gord confided that that was one song they were only trying out, some make it some don't, or words to that effect so it is entirely possible that that concert was a once only airing of that great "toe tapper"
I noted that the programme listed both Red and Terry and Gord introduced them as "on Lead Guitar Red Shea and on Second Lead guitar Terry Clements"
    in addition

is a scan of the tv guide for the screening of the great March 1968 special which contained an extremely rare performance of
    Face Of A Thousand People"
Again Wayne has the lyrics at:-

I think you are correct Mende a single possibly recorded at the same time (1962?) as the other "Early Lightfoot" singles in Nashville?)
Note apropos another recent thread here it is by"Gordie" Lightfoot on both issues
those rare songs that Mende lists as 1965 are either from the CanadianTalent Library album or the great La Cave Cleveland Ohio live recording
