Pam, you are quite right. I remember my mother and father had Gord's LPs and listened to them quite frequently on Sunday evening's (amongst other artist's). When the 70's came and I heard the music that Gord wrote and sang in the 70's, I was surprised that my mom and dad knew of him (Sundown and Sit Down Young Stranger are startlingly different). Those Gord songs on Sunday nights were very different from the 70's and later Gord. My dad was surprised when I was surprised that they listened to Gord. I grew up in a house of music, let me correct that, a house of musicians performing music. We are lucky that Gord has made it this far folks...
