In Minnesota, Montana and Colorado hitting wildlife is considered an Act of God. I don't know what other states say. It does not go against the driving record and it is not a point issue. You will have to check with your insurance carrier. Also, if you do not have full coverage your insurance won't cover it. Check your deductible amount too.
