Thanks for putting this out there Char. I remember growing up as a child in Nfld. even before television hearing the voice of Porter Wagoner on the radio. It made an impression on me then and as technology bettered we were able to hear and see more of him. He was born into an era with many of the greats like Johnny Cash so when these folks start to disappear it's a sad feeling. At the same time it's also nice to have had them around for the many years we did and not having their lives cut short accidentially as sometimes is the case with these folks . A great presence if the world of country music will be missed. Ron J.
