This might be a little morbid for me to say but withthe passings of Don Ho and Kitty Carlisle Hart,I was wondering if there'd be that third person. (Sounds goulish doesn't it?)

I first heard Monster Mash back in the 70s on a San Diego FM oldies station. As just about any kid would,I thought it was funny.
I,like Pickett, can also do a very good Boris Karloff impersonation and my firend's husband just falls over laughing when I do.

For a man who more than likely couldn't carry a tune,Bobby Pickett certainly earned a nice spot in pop music history. Despite the fact that when The Billboard Book OF #1 Hits was first published, his page had no picture available, like it does now.

"Monster Mash" is a song that will live on long after Bobby and as you might expect, being a #1,is a permanent part of my record collection.

RIP Bobby, thanks for the humor and your musical "graveside" manner, while alive.
