Until her retirement Anna's mother, Virgie Arthur, was a law enforcement officer for 28 years.

After the sudden, tragic death of her grandson, Daniel, she began appearing on the Nancy Grace Show. (Court TV - Nancy was a Prosecucting Attorney for years. She's something of a "crusader". I like her.)

Anyway, Howard Stern had completely isolated Anna from her family & friends. (dangerous, IMO.) Virgie was a desperate mother trying to reach out to her daughter the only way she could at the time - over the airwaves. She had followed Anna the only way she could - in the media. And she saw so many "red flags" but felt so helpless as to how to reach out to her daughter & prevent another tragedy. She saw this coming. I can't blame her for taking to the airways/going public. "Public" seemed to be the only way Anna Nicole/Vickie Lynn did ANYthing.

Interesting note: After young Daniel died Nancy asked Virgie if she'd like to reach out to Anna on her show. Virgie said "yes." What she said was something like, "Vickie Lynn.. You know I love you. Always have. But you need to be very careful of the people you let close to you. Because you may be next..." Sorry I don't have it verbatim. But it made my blood run cold.

Five months later *Poof!* - no more Anna. hmmm... What a coinkydink. I feel there was foul play involved in both Anna & Daniel's deaths. That new baby and her yet to be named father will have more money than they coud ever even begin to deal with.

According to reports there were no "illegal drugs". But the "heavy hitter" prescription drugs were in Howard Stern's name and they were all over the place. It's been said the room/suite "looked like a pharmacy." A few of the drugs were Methadone, Zanax, Vicoden and Provigil. Odd at best. Most people needing some of those drugs are in a very bad way. Howard seems to get around/party/travel/etc just fine.

I've never had a very high opinion of ANS (or her boyfriend/unofficial husband) but I've always admired her astounding beauty. And her mother didn't just suddenly show up on the scene. I know some people don't like or respect law enforcement officers but I do. They put their lives on the line every single day to protect us. Except for the occassinal crooked cop they are Heroes to me.

And I hope Virgie Arthur can get custody of that baby ASAP before a "baby switch" takes place and Anna's true daughter is lost to her family forever. Everything happens for a reason. To be 100% honest - I would not have wanted Anna Nicole for a mother. (many peoples' worst nightmare) That said - I'm sad about Anna's premature death.

IMO Anna Nicole had very self-destructive tendencies. I also feel *someone* else took full advantage of her weakness to help her along to an early end for the money.

Yes, RMD - the price of fame is high. Much too high. I'm a privacy freak so I would just never be interested in that life style!
