My parents got married Nov. 20th that year and while on their honeymmon 2 days later,this event happened.

They left Florida and took off for Washington D.C. and attended with the many who lined the streets,to view the "passing by" of JFK.

In an odd music releated co-incidence,the male/female duo of Dale & Grace were in Dallas that day. The very same day & week that their song,"I'm Leaving It Up To You" was #1 in America.

In my book of #1 hits Grace talks about how they saw the President's motorcade go by and then three blocks later (unknown to them) the shots rang out.

Except for those that were there,they found out about it like the rest of the country.
