There have been many interesting tales told of our earliest memories of music, first GL albums bought, favorite artists other than GL, and so on.
I thought it might interesting to read about the first singles bought...whether it was a 45rpm, a cassette single or CD single and why that particular song was a standout for you ("it's got a good beat and I can dance to it" counts
).
I can't post an example of my own, since I never bought a single anything in my life, but my older sister did...I remember a few good ones...
