Steve, my digital recorder is a very small unit, and I find I tend to use it more often if I just put it on a chain around my neck. Now, if I tuck it into my shirt, I forget it's there, but if I leave it out, at least while I'm working around the house, I'm constantly reminded that I need to keep using it. It has become my backup memory.

I'm quite sure that we'd all be quite amused with our old posts. One of these days I have to take the time to look some of mine up... if I dare even read them.

I don't think that we will ever be able to return to to our old ways of doing things. I think our short term memory will come back some, but not to the extent that it was before our brain injuries. I think we just need to learn how to deal with the loss... to learn other ways of doing things.
