That, er, ah, you could learn to roast a beef yourself Gord. Not only will you learn a valuable skill, but you might just convert her someday. Trust me, I was a vegetarian for about three years. They may not eat it, but that doesn't mean the smell doesn't get to 'em. There's something very primative about the smell of cooking meat, and no amount of pre-formed soy matter designed to look like chicken nuggests is gonna touch that.
I know how to cook roast beef dinners, I've had my dad here many times here as well as my friends plus one of my ex-girlfriends... I live alone so I do most of the cooking myself.
Yer right serving up a burger under the guise it is meat when in fact it nothing but highly pressed soy crap is a fraud to me lol. Don't get me wrong I eat the odd vegetable, I like my V8 juice etc etc but I didn't buy a freezer for nothing lol
