Ahhh, you traditionalist you. Will she at least consider cooking the animal flesh, even if she won't eat it? I've known couples to compromise that way.

That, er, ah, you could learn to roast a beef yourself Gord. Not only will you learn a valuable skill, but you might just convert her someday. Trust me, I was a vegetarian for about three years. They may not eat it, but that doesn't mean the smell doesn't get to 'em. There's something very primative about the smell of cooking meat, and no amount of pre-formed soy matter designed to look like chicken nuggests is gonna touch that.
