How cool!
I just recently re-watched the Carpenters biography on PBS late last month! It featured a clip of that legendary performance with Ella Fitzgerald. I'd forgotten about it.
I hope for the CD cover they choose a picture from within the first 4 years of their career. The last CD put out for them featured a gangly Karen in a goofy looking hat! I prefer the way she first looked.
