I love Thanksgiving! It's one of my most favorite Holidays...there are family gatherings, a lot of great food and I don't have to shop for presents (I love to give presents to those I love, but I hate shopping...yep, that's me, a girl who hates to shop!)!
Thanksgiving Day is a great time to ponder all that we are thankful for...I put family at the top of my list! Knightmoves, I have the kind of family that you mentioned...parents/grandparents/great grandma welcoming us in with hugs when we arrive and waving to us on the porch as we leave...it is wonderful to have that circle of love surrounding us!
Unfortunately, the Holidays can be very lonely and sad for some people...I would also hope that we can remember to be a little extra kind to those around us and to keep those less fortunate in our prayers!
