Personally, I don't have a problem with Borderstone's posts. He's a member of this Internet community and has quite often sparked some very good discussions. With Lightfoot out of commission for awhile, no new songs or concert reviews to write about, things could get pretty boring around here if it weren't for Borderstone's interest in digging through the archive to find interesting topics. I like hearing the newer member's comments on threads that were posted a couple years ago.
Nobody is being forced to read each and every thread, or each and every message in a thread. Basically, I'm saying if you don't like Borderstone's comments or threads, skip them and go on to the next, or start a thread on a subject that you are interested in.
Want to see what happens to a group where people don't actively look for topics to discuss? Go take a look at the newsgroup. It has basically turned in to alt.members.happybirthday with very little Lightfoot discussion. Sad, but true.
Carry on, Borderstone. There are many of us who enjoy reading what you have to say. It's refreshing to me to see people from the 'younger generation' taking an interest in Gord's music.
