For starters, we are a Christian country and that it why we say God Bless America. We are different than the rest of the world. I am not saying that we are better human beings (although I do know that is the case most of the time when it comes to morals) but rather we are very unique and a beacon for freedom. Actually, I wonder when the day will come that they legislate God out of the vocabulary.

Secondly, if we were to adopt your idea of changing it to God bless the world, we would be seen as bullying our ideas onto countries that are not considered Christian nations. The left wingers would have a field day with this one. My God, we get slack for saying God Bless America, from AMERICANS!!!!!!! They want to get "In God We Trust" removed from money!!! Give me a break! What a bunch of whimps to get offended from something like that. Many think that there is no place for the word "God" in public! Tom Hanks being one of many as he refuses to say God in the Pledge of Allegiance because he may offend someone. Wimp!! Can you imagine the reaction from the rest of the world if we starting to push our ideas about religion on them??? God bless the world? Better think about that one.
