Yes, I agree...
It would be nice if PBS would do something on him the Edmund Fitzgerald or something in this vein.
I was looking at some books I purchased from the Grand River area at a light house there and they have so much info about Gord in that wreck. There are many other books written about shipwrecks. There are, also, other songs about shipwrecks...but, Gord really hit the proverbial three cherries jackpot with his timely song, don't you think? Where in the world were you when you first heard Gord's Edmund Fitzgerald? There were plenty of musical currents moving in the time of this songs' release. Disco it was not, but, didn't it connect two styles of music?
