i certainly don't know all GL tributes out there (but i sure enjoy listening to most attempts and new arrangements so please send me links to mp3s of any and all covers ), as there are even many great small studio ones that admirers have made/homemade

i think Mac Wiseman's cover album is a hoot but all songs sounds the same to me...if they want to crack that Saddam guy they should loop this album in his cell, lol

no joking, i probably knew George Hamilton IV cover album ('69) versions before hearing many of Gordon's originals, that old LP has been kicking around about here forever... i think my brother bought it for my mom's bday back when we were small, but he thought it was a Lightfoot album... in mom-fashion, she didn't acknowledge the mistake, but she may have privately wept/wailed later, lol

i'm pretty ignorant to west coast music (except for fleetwood mac, if that counts as west coast...only cos i love christine mcvie, who's British, lol) so i have no comments to add about the parrot guy or the dead guy... i've heard good things about them but not yet heard good music from them
