Dear old friend Sir John - I owe YOU an apology. You were quite correct regarding your mail boxes. PM'as were full on repeated attempts, but as advised I'll try again. E-mail I assume is still viable as you indicated.... sorry...
My eggregious error was regarding e-mail - I did not try that, foolish as that sounds, and then erroneously said it and your PM's were full. I stand corrected ole buddy. I must beg off one more time on having been very tired trying to care for Merry abd coordinate increasingly complex care for her.
She is home only temporarily, glad of it we both are, but scared of addressing her 24-hour care myself that I am told is not viable for a medical layman to do.
I will call you on the old "steam-phone" as you say LOL...still will call. You are in a que that we might debate stochastic processes over - obtuse reference to queing theory.....rim-shot.
You are in good company waiting for a call from me ( and I am not implying with bated breath LOL )I've had no time for - others waiting too are:
* old college friend who's a double-E chip/memory maker stuck in Wash. D.C. testyfying for months over a contractual matter in his production line for computer chips- worried over Merry and me
* A lifelong friend who sold magnesium to the Pacific rim for Dow Chemical, until they sold out to an offshore consortium - and now he is on the road 40 out of 52 weeks a year with not just the Eastern Hemisphere as his territory, but the whole industrialized planet. He is worried and calling. It takes 3 patches or so to get to him.
* My old friend from high school, a commercial carpenter who became Pres. of the Cleveland Joiner's Union, to insure more steady work as he said. Now he's taken a place in the country, and he and his wife - my old college fiend, too - are upset I have not called back with worry in their VM's.
Only reason I mention the above is to illustrate how desperate I am for time in caring for Merry and seeing to her longer term interests ( oh my God...), and I mean no offense or hurt feelings by waiting to call you back, John.
With respect and admiration, as always, and will call,
geo Steve
