Hi Jennifer! By "Experiences" I had meant VERY BROADLY the life a (at the time) a fairly famous singer/songwriter lived: the girls who wanted so much to meet him and give him notes, how the band had to live on the road, and with all these people wanting to meet him, how lonely that life was. I realized I wouldn't want to live that life but GL apparently thrived and continues to thrive on it. Also, having him tell me what he thought about other famous singers! Just getting to talk to this man one-on-one who (at the time, again) was so different personally from his stage persona. (He can be very romantic and caring sometimes like some of his songs, yet he could be very cruel in his comments at other times!)Him talking about (at that time) two kids and how much he loved them. Also, going "yacht shopping" with him. Having him drive my dad's car and really like it. Eating at McDonald's with him! Him not wanting to be recognized but wanting to at the same time! Like I said above, him singing "Beautiful" to me in his suite (and I was the ugly duckling who didn't get asked to the prom - that made up for a LOT!) And, as for "other experiences," all I'll say is, I'll have memories to keep me happy as an old lady at the retirement home!
