Louise, thanks for asking about how you can read the entire article, and Charlene, thanks for the extra info regarding how to access the entire article! I could only read a little portion of it, too, and was going to try to figure it out tonight after work.

.....Since last week, when I've been trying to catch up on what's happened to him in the 30 years in between since I last saw him and now, he seems to take as much delight in his kids and grandkids as in his music, which is great because he wasn't the happiest person in the world in the late 70's!

Sure glad I found this forum - thx again!
Sheryl,

Yes, he seems to have mellowed and become a person very much at peace with himself, and happy with life. Am so pleased for him. What a long and interesting life he has had. He seems so close to most of his children and grandchildren, and very proud of his son that is the drummer in the band, and is learning to be a piolet. It's may be wierd, by he is the only performer that I pray for everyday, just like our own family members. He seems like so much a part of our family, as we have shared his music, identified with it, and gone to hear him perform for over 30 years now. (My old GL scrapbooks, I treat like sacred books)
