New topic as the previous "highlights" one was getting long in the tooth
-------Newsgroup highlights week ending April 1st 2005

Ron Jones (who recently debuted on this forum) started a nice thread subject "Lighthead Seniority" by boasting that this year marks 40 since he became a lighthead2toe.(beating me by a couple of years)

there are now 27 postings to the thread including a very poignant one by Shirley
(Hoggard) from OK city
As always the link I just gave is to the initial posting that started the thread and after reading it you must click on the "show options" link then select" view thread"
you then will see only postings 1 through 10 with the complete thread list in the left hand panel, so after scrolling through the first 10 click on posting 11 to read the next 10 etc
Again this past week there is precious little else to draw your attention to on the Newsgroup so instead I will give you a link to a Lightfoot thread on another newsgroup that I found whilst trying to find a thread discussing the meaning of "Minstrel Of The Dawn":-

that page and the whole chat folder needs considerable revising which I hope to accomplish soon but meanwhile those in the know (and most of last week's chatters know)
