"but"..(always the qualifier..)
no offense taken..
I'm not a fan of Dylan as a performer or how he is with his fans..
I like performers who show their appreciation..
Dylan, even at this age seems to just show up, get it done, get the cheque and leave.
In his younger days Gord was a dinkus hominus fer sure..he's grown past it for many reasons..
It endears him even more to his fans.
As foolish as it was to continue a concert under the weather chaos on Sunday it sure proved the mettle of the man/performer..
and I'm pretty sure there were at least one or two Dylan fans out there in the rain listening to the hometown boy that would have been as tickled pink as the Lightfoot fans to see Bob say a quick "howdy" and then be on his way.
The limo could have pulled almost right up to the stage where Gord's car was..Gord wasn't melting in the rain..lol. I'd have even shared my poncho with Bob!
oh well..
long ago it was all about the music for me but for the last several years it's more than just the music - it's the man himself too..and I appreciate the music so much more because of that.
just my opinion..i could be wrong ..
