I"ve never sat in the back, but my very first time to Massey I had front row seats, on the Terry side, the last seats in the row. The sound wasn't great, and I was happy later that week when I was farther back and more center. The sound was much better.
In my experience, it would be difficult to have a "bad" seat anywhere in Massey Hall.
