lol, i guess his review is the rebuttle to char's and should be called "NOT Gettin' It Done in Hamilton", eh?

"I'm going to pass Lightfoot by when he comes around again to Massey Hall or anywhere else for that matter. If he's opening for Bob Dylan or someone else that I don't miss I'll be happy to see him again or if he's apart of a folk festival that I happen to be at. But otherwise I will not be spending my money to have Lightfoot's name on a ticket.

I will continue to love Lightfoot's music, I just think he has lost it as a live performer."

now in partial agreement with TB, I will say that every one of us wants a GL concert to go forever (kinda like Dylan's quote about a GL song ) so I understand his disappointment

I only wish Gord would have bypassed the Wreck (even though it was stellar) and that would leave time for him to slide in both Bitter Green and On the High Seas on the Sunday night instead...my missing OTHS is like that fiesty Brit missing Christian Island...so yeah Bru, the Captain and I also had a mournful date after seeing Monday's setlist the other evening (once my brain recovered from Sunday's celebratory pints )
